ECFD aims at gathering researchers from academia and industry of the CFD community around massively parallel CFD codes (YALES2, AVBP, ...) to federate their expertise with the objective to improve both the modeling capabilities and numerical simulation methodologies to meet technical and scientific challenges associated with modern hybrid supercomputers with accelerated resources.

This year, the location is different from the previous years, and the 8th Extreme CFD workshop will take place at the "Centre Sportif de Normandie" in Houlgate.

** Identify the technological barriers of exaflopic CFD via numerical experiments

** Identify industrial needs and challenges in high-performance computing

** Propose action plans to add to the development roadmaps of the CFD codes
